Cimaruta-Inspired Apotropaic Door Hanger

The beads are vintage handmade glass beads from India and ethically sourced recycled glass beads that are handmade by artisans in Ghana using a centuries old technique. Created using kumihumo cord braiding. 

Black Hanger Charms Used:
Snake - Proserpina
Fish - abundance and good health
Key - Hecate (also is a St Benedict key for protection against evil spirits)
Flower - traditionally vervain for connection to the spirit realm, but this one is just “a flower” — I personally think it looks like a rue flower. Choose your own adventure.  
Crow/Raven - knowledge and adaptability 
Sword - protection
Mano Figa - luck and protection
Moon - Diana
Heart - love
