This water represents the protection and prep in veiling and is available in both a spray and an oil. Can be worn in lieu of veiling or used to anoint & spray veilings.
Vittae comes in a 2oz spray bottle and is slightly more expensive than our other offerings to reflect its size and the materials used to create it.
Often worn by free matrons and women, the vittae was a head piece worn by many in Ancient Rome. It was considered both sacred and ordinary, adorning maidens, married women, and matrons while also serving as a sacred symbol on priests, Vestal priestesses, prophets, and poets. Often made of wool and intertwining the front locks or hair or including laurel and olive, vittae provided a structural base for larger coverings such as the palla or the marital flammeum while also signifying the status of women, holy men and women, and artists. The usage of this head garment to apply larger head coverings, by women, and by holy individuals inspired the name and the purpose behind this oil - it is to protect, to signify, and, similar to the Vittae, to create purpose for our veils.
Vittae contains a hydrosol base of a protective, nurturing, and grounding herbal blend & witch hazel.
Spray the top of your head with Vittae to create an energetic boundary or use on veils and head pieces to bring an essence of sacred protection to your daily life.

The spray smells fantastic, earthy and green and slightly floral, and works like a charm. I woke around a looot of people and feel noticeably more calm and less affected when I use the spray. I spray my work hat before leaving my car in the mornings and I feel so much more at peace 😌
I love this spray! It has a comforting smell (or maybe that's just me) and I feel more confident in my veiling when I use this.
I don't know quite how to describe it, but using this spray feels very special. You feel it working with you and enveloping you as soon as you first use it. It has such a sacred aura to it, and does a really good job both for general protection, and to sort of "charge" (yourself, your veil, your day...) with a sacred and magical feel. If you want something that will protect you AND be an ally for your everyday life and the time spent in devotion or working at your altar: this spray is perfect in my opinion! It never fails to put me in the perfect space for veneration and worship. I really love it ❤️
