Tier Levels

Consolida/Comfrey Tier: This is a scholarship tier for those who may be struggling financially, but still would like access to the magic & medicine & community of this container. We trust that you know your finances and situation best. This tier receives access to the five-class container.

Malve Tier: Normal pricing for access to our five class container.

Fennelcello Tier: This tier is for those in stable and/or upper middle-class economic situations that would like to give extra to the container & teacher for no extra benefits. Please refer to the graphic given if this may apply to you and if you are interested.

The first tier option contains the following three classes:

Class 1: Meeting the Plants as Ancestors

“Plants are our ancestors that are still alive” – Lisa Fazio.

Part 1 of “Plants as Ancestors” is in June, having to do with how we can approach plants as teachers and as living spirits with respect. This will tie in conversations around being on stolen land, land sovereignty, and how we can see plants not just as tools to be used, but living forces that have so much to teach us.

We will talk in this class about what ancestral allies can feel like and look like, a no versus a yes, and finding plants your ancestors may have had a connection with and learning more about plants as vessels to connect with our ancestors. Part one will focus on all the practical elements – identifying these plants and ethical sourcing, working with flower essences and plant matter in different preparations, and how we can invite these ancestral allies into our life to strengthen our connection with the ancestors.

Students will leave this class with an understanding of how to approach and work with plants as teachers, and will be instructed to do so before part two of the meeting so we can share our experiences in identifying, sourcing, and connecting with plant teachers.

Class 3: Plants as Ancestors: Moving Through the World

Part 3 of “Plants as Ancestors” is in August, and will look into how to apply what we learned not only from the plants, but as animistic practitioners who can continue to form relationships with all living things moving forward. This section of the class focuses on moving through the world not just recognizing plants as tools, but plants as allies and how to continue to foster relationships with not just plants, but all living spirits and ancestral allies.

This class will discuss animistic pathways in folk magic, rituals and ways of being to honor our ancestors, intentionality in our day-to-day, and discussions around working ritual and ceremony into daily life. We will talk about how the mundane is magical, folk magic and animism, and each student will leave the class knowing more about how to implement teachings from plants and magic into their day to day.

Three classes will take place over three months, along with access to a plant-ancestor Discord server to discuss experiences, share resources, and more.

The Amarella and Fennelcello Tier contain access to the two extra classes:

Plants as Ancestors & Living with the Seasons: Animistic Viewpoints and Land Veneration

Plants as Ancestors & Living with the Seasons looks to discuss seasonality, including seasonal holidays and working with particular plants seasonally, in our practice. We will explore animism as not just a belief, but a practice to build upon, including exploring land veneration and work as a way of reconnection and fostering connections with the land.

Plants as Protection - Italian-American Viewpoints on Apotropaic Charms

A class exploring Italian-American specific plants for protection, Italian & Italian-American protective charms, and exploring what it looks like to work in allyship with our protective plant teachers and charms. How can we petition the spirit of iron? How can we learn from plants in methods of protection, and what are some of the protective plants often found within this folk magic?
